Testimonials from Students

"What a wonderful gift - the visuals were absolutely beautiful, and the messages were deeply moving and profound.  Your prompts will be ones I can see myself working on as I pull out fabric and thread in the future.  Thank you so much for sharing this practice - I will spread your kindness when I tell others about it."

" Beautifully presented course. With so much content to think about. I practise meditation and I am a creative but hadn't really thought about how I combined the two together. So much food for thought. Love it. Thank you."

I'm Emma Freeman, your guide through this workshop experience.

I’m an intuitive artist, writer, massage therapist, Reiki practitioner and teacher. I offer creative practices to help people slow down, go inward and connect deeply to their bodies, hearts and souls. I love to encourage play and returning to our imaginations as adults to cultivate a revitalizing sense of wonder and awe.

I have over 20 years of experience in arts education and have worked with thousands of students across the world from ages 4-85.

Through a long and difficult healing journey, I have discovered wonderful creative practices that have brought me home to my truest self, to my soul and have helped me heal in subtle and profound ways. These practices, along with years dedicated to different kinds of therapy, research and deep contemplation, have helped me recover from addictions, release layers of trauma stored in my body and reconnect to the deep sensitivity that I was born with. I am now devoted to helping others on their journeys to live deep, soulful lives.

I am Buddhist, sober, a highly sensitive person and queer. I live in Wisconsin with my wonderful family including two rescue beagles.
