Testimonials from Students

"I did my first 'nature weaving' this evening! I had an 1800's tin-type .. and added it to my 'rock weaving'.   the rock I found on the mountainside where we live.  This was lots of fun .. and I see  lots more of these in my future." -Frannie

"My piece was made with an abalone shell fragment from the California coast, plain hemp for the warp and a multicolored hemp for the weft.  I think I love the back as much  as the front.  Oh - and I’ve discovered that I really like to rub my thumb on the weave both as a worry stone type thing and as a mindful tool." -Shay

"What a joy this class was. I can’t wait to weave and weave some more. There are so many things one can do with this." -past student

"For many years I’ve been attracted to natures little offerings when I’m out and about strolling in the bush and this seems like a wonderful way to honour my findings. I love how the piece feels as it lays in the palm of my hand." -Krystyna

Hi, I'm Emma Freeman, your teacher and guide through this creative class.

I'm an Artist, Poet, Reiki Practitioner, Teacher, and Intuitive Medium.

Art making has always been my sanctuary—a space where I can slow down, listen, play, explore and find a deeper connection to myself and the world.

My difficult healing journey led me to spirituality and learning various healing modalities. I believe creative expression is love in action and have experienced how love has the power to transform our deepest pain into light and depth. I’m here to support others as they navigate their inner worlds, deepen their connection to their creative spirit and find their own radiant light to guide them through life.

I am a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), sober and part of the LGBTQIA community, I live in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

I’d love to share this journey with you.
